We want you to love the candy you receive from us–and we want to make sure it arrives at your door in the same perfect condition in which we shipped it. Please look over the following shipping guide and refer to it when placing your order.

When will my order arrive?

We ship orders on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. If you need to receive your order by a certain date please include a note with your order so we can work with you to make this happen.

Does someone need to be there to receive the package?

It is very STRONGLY encouraged that someone be available to receive the delivery–we are happy to ship to commercial addresses and businesses! Deliveries left unattended can be subject to damage from the weather, or even theft. If you are shipping a gift it is recommended that you notify the recipient that a weather-sensitive package will be arriving for them so they can ensure someone is available to receive the package.

I need candy NOW!

We ship some of our more popular items almost every day and often have a bit extra on hand. To shop our products available to ship the next day click here, and ensure your order meets the criteria below.

  1. The product ordered is included in our list of items available to ship the next day.
  2. Place your order by 2:00pm Mountain Time.
  3. Select the proper shipping method to ensure your order will arrive at its destination by Friday of that week. (Due to warm/freezing weather we do our best to make sure orders do not spend weekends in transit.)

Our candies are generally made to order–any products not included on the list of items available to ship the next day may take additional processing time (unless your order serendipitously aligns with one already in production).

The schedule above is a guide and does not guarantee delivery before or on a certain time. The schedule is subject to change due to holidays, closures, and weather delays. For specific needs please contact our customer care team at 801-372-7624. 


Shipping Fees

We ship within the continental United States and to Alaska. Shipping charges are per delivery address, regardless of the number of items ordered. Following is the rate and estimated delivery time for each shipping method:

 * If Ground shipping is selected we will generally use the method which will arrive at the destination most quickly.

PO Boxes

Overnight and 2-Day Shipping are not available to PO Boxes. Orders to PO Boxes will ship via USPS Priority Mail unless weather does not permit. If an alternate delivery address or method is not available the order will be canceled.

Warm Weather Shipping (70F+)

Please note that not all shipping methods are available in all locations. Some areas which consistently see warmer temperatures may require expedited shipping to ensure your candy arrives in good condition. The map below is designed to help you choose the shipping method that will ensure your order arrives in good condition. This is designed to serve as a set of guidelines, to more accurately determine the best shipping method to use you may wish to consult the weather forecast for the delivery address, and at all points between the delivery address and our factory (located in Laramie, Wyoming 82070).


If your order includes chocolate products please adhere to the temperature and method guidelines below. If your order only includes wrapped caramels you may add 5 degrees to the high temperatures below.

Green: If temperatures at the destination are above 85F Overnight shipping is required. Overnight or 2-Day shipping required if above 75F. Ground shipping will generally arrive in 4 days.

Orange: If temperatures at the destination are above 85F Overnight shipping is required. Overnight or 2-Day shipping required if above 75F. Ground shipping will generally arrive in 3 days.

Blue: USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground will generally arrive within 2 business days, however it is not guaranteed. Overnight shipping required if high temperatures at the destination are above 85F.

Pink: USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground will generally arrive the next business day. No expedited shipping is required.

If temperatures exceed 95F degrees shipping may be suspended.

Sorry, we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii at this time.


Shipping Policy

We do our best to ensure every package that we send out is delivered in the best condition possible. However, once a box leaves our factory it is literally out of our hands. Please ensure you choose the correct shipping option–we do not have the time to check the temperature at the delivery address for every order we ship out, so please be sure to use the guide above and choose a method that best suits your order. We cannot be held responsible if an unsuitable shipping method is selected by you for your order and it does not arrive in good condition. 

Serendipity Confections LLC, is not responsible for the loss of product if we are provided with the incorrect shipping address. Likewise, FedEx and USPS will be instructed to leave the package if no one is available to receive it. Serendipity Confections LLC is not responsible for if the package is damaged due to weather conditions once left for delivery. Drivers may choose to attempt redelivery if they feel the address is not suitable for a delivery to be left unattended.
